The soprano Patricia Cifuentes made a strong impression with her beautiful voice and perfect intonation. She toyed with the coñaraturas and her top noted were firm. At the same time she gave a convincing acting performance. In the singing lesson scene she was quite remarkable making continuous changes of mood to fit the plot. In the colaratura arias she was sparklingand she brought true emotion to the more melancholy arias.

The Chilean soprano's Adina was sung with good taste, a perfect line and interesting phrasing. Her performance grew as the opera proceeded reaching her best moment with the aria “Prendi, per me sei libero...” Her high-pitched notes were firm and well placed and her interpretation was free and unencumbered.
